Terms and Conditions

Salone Invest is an investment-facilitation and matchmaking platform. We connect companies, projects and opportunities in Sierra Leone and across Africa with investors, partners and development-finance institutions, and we convene forums and introductions to help those parties meet. We help open the door; the decisions belong to the parties.

• Salone Invest does not provide investment, legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing on the Service is a recommendation to make or accept any investment.
• Salone Invest does not act as a bank, securities broker, placement agent or investment firm, does not hold or handle investor funds, and does not solicit investments on behalf of any party.
• Any introduction we facilitate is an opportunity for parties to conduct their own due diligence and negotiate directly. Any investment, agreement or transaction is entered into solely between the parties, at their own risk and on their own terms.
• You are responsible for obtaining your own independent professional advice before entering into any transaction.

The Service is intended for businesses, investors and professionals. You confirm that you are authorised to act for any organisation you represent, and that the information you provide is true, accurate and your own to share. Keep any account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your application and profile. Misleading or fraudulent submissions may be removed and access withdrawn.
• By submitting content, you grant Salone Invest permission to use it as needed to provide the Service, including sharing it with relevant investors, companies or partners in line with your application and our Privacy Policy.
• You retain ownership of your own materials.

You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to send fraudulent, misleading or unlawful information, to infringe others' rights, to launder money or evade sanctions, to introduce malware, or to scrape, resell or misuse other users' data. We may suspend or remove access for breach.

Access to apply may be free or subject to fees, sponsorships or success-based advisory fees, as described at the point of registration or in a separate written agreement. Any such fees will be set out clearly and agreed before they apply.

The Service may reference or link to third-party organisations, events, programmes such as Finnpartnership, and websites. Salone Invest does not control and is not responsible for third parties, their content, decisions or outcomes.

The Salone Invest name, brand, website and materials are owned by LOAINVEST SL LTD or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, resell or exploit them without permission, except for your own legitimate use of the Service.

The Service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that any application will result in an introduction, that any introduction will result in investment, or that any party, project or opportunity is suitable, solvent or as described. We make no warranty as to outcomes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salone Invest and LOAINVEST SL LTD are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses arising from any transaction, introduction, decision or reliance made through the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify Salone Invest and LOAINVEST SL LTD against claims and losses arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your transactions with other parties.

We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time; the current version will be posted here. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary, for example for breach or legal reasons.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and disputes are subject to the courts of Finland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or local-law rights you may have.
